Fees guide

Deemed fees come in three layers plus living costs. Rs. 2,05,000 is due upfront at registration — before any seat is allotted.

Fee layerAmountRefundable?Conditions
MCC registration feeRs. 5,000No — non-refundablePaid once at registration. Applies whether or not a seat is allotted.
MCC security depositRs. 2,00,000Yes — if conditions metRefunded if no seat is allotted in any round, or if you join your allotted seat. Forfeited if allotted in Round 2, Round 3, or Stray Vacancy Round and you do not report/join.
Annual college tuitionRs. 10,00,000 – Rs. 25,00,000+NoSet by each deemed institution and regulated by the Fees Committee — not by MCC. Verify with the specific college before deciding.
Hostel + miscRs. 1,00,000 – Rs. 2,50,000 / yrNoVaries by institution. Always clarify separately from tuition.

Applying for both AIQ and Deemed? Pay only once.

A candidate registering for both tracks pays only the higher fee: Rs. 5,000 + Rs. 2,00,000 (deemed rate). The AIQ-rate fee (Rs. 1,000 + Rs. 10,000) is absorbed into the deemed payment. Many students pay double unnecessarily based on misinformation.

Stray Vacancy Round needs fresh registration

Round 3 choices are not carried to the Stray Vacancy Round — you must re-register with fresh choices. Failure to join after a stray-round allotment leads to forfeiture of the Rs. 2,00,000 deposit anddisqualification from next year's NEET counselling. See the rounds guide.
