The University of the Philippines Diliman is a public research university located in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines, and the lead constituent university of the University of the Philippines (UP) System. Established in 1949 after most academic functions transferred from the Manila campus, it served as the main campus until the UP System was formed in 1972.
