The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) is a public land-grant research university in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. Founded in 1955 by President Nnamdi Azikiwe, the university was formally opened on 7 October 1960. It was one of the first generation universities in Nigeria. The university has campuses in Nsukka, Enugu, and Ituku-Ozalla, all in Enugu State, and in Aba, Abia State.
